For her “silly post” about Kate Middleton’s Photoshop error, Blake Lively has apologized
Hollywood actress Blake Lively has apologized for mocking Britain’s Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, for her Photoshop gaffes after the royal said she has an illness and is receiving chemotherapy.
Kate asked for “space and privacy” while she finished her treatment in an emotional personal video message that was made public by Kensington Palace on Friday. She stated that the news was a “huge shock” to her family.
Lively apologized on social media for teasing Kate during the scandal surrounding her “manipulated” photo earlier this month. The 36-year-old actor made the joke. “I know nobody is interested in this now, but I feel compelled to say it anyhow. I created a ridiculous post centered around the craze of “Photoshop fails,” and I’m so embarrassed by it now. I apologize. I’m constantly sending love and best wishes to everyone,” the actor posted to Instagram.
The British princess shared a Mother’s Day photo of herself and her three kids, George (age 10), Charlotte (8), and Louis (5), on social media on March 10. However, the image was quickly removed from circulation by several news outlets due to suspicions that it had been “manipulated”.
In a video message that was shot on Wednesday and released on Friday, Kate revealed her situation. It happened following weeks of speculating on social media on her whereabouts and health following her hospitalization for an undisclosed stomach surgery in January.
The announcement coincides with King Charles III, her father-in-law, receiving treatment for an unidentified type of cancer.
Numerous celebrities from Hollywood, meanwhile, sent Kate well wishes via social media.
Actor Olivia Munn left a remark on the Princess of Wales’ Instagram photo after recently disclosing that she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
“I appreciate you sharing your story of fighting for your family and yourself with dignity and tenacity. Best wishes to you,” she wrote.
Jamie Lee Curtis, the Oscar winner, criticized people who propagated unfounded rumors about Kate.
“This individual appears to have a health concern and is a mother of small children. That is a question of privacy. Are there not more worthwhile tasks and significant matters to consider and worry about than this? There are so many important concerns that require our attention that we are living at a low point in our society,” the writer noted.
Wales and the world are with you, HRH Princess of Wales, said a post by Catherine Zeta-Jones on Instagram. Love is always with you
